Can I use a bucket to hold my Christmas tree?

How long does a real Christmas tree last indoors?
With proper care, your live Christmas tree should last at least five weeks indoors. If you purchase your real tree toward the end of November, it will remain vibrant and full of life by Christmas Day!
How to Get Your Tree Home
Before heading home, consider how you’ll transport your Christmas tree. Will it go on the roof of your car or fit in the boot? The more tightly the tree is bundled, the less it will dehydrate during the journey.
If you’re placing it on the roof, make sure you have straps or rope to securely tie it down. Taking these steps will help ensure your tree arrives home fresh and ready for decorating!

Should I spray my Christmas tree with water?

You can also fill a spray bottle with room temperature water and mist your tree every few days—just remember to turn off and unplug your lights first!
How do you save a dying Christmas tree?
The best way to revive a struggling Christmas tree is to provide it with water. Just like cut flowers, fresh Christmas trees rely on water to thrive and stay healthy.
How can you tell if a Christmas tree is fresh?
Fresh Christmas trees should have needles that are firmly attached to the branches and shouldn’t easily fall off. You can also check the trunk for stickiness, as a sticky trunk is a strong indicator of freshness.
