If you’re not ready to set up your tree right away, keep it in water in a cool, sheltered spot until you’re ready to decorate. This will help maintain its freshness and vitality!​

When you’re ready to set up your tree, start by making a fresh 1cm cut from the base of the trunk. Then, place the tree securely in your sturdy Tree Stand, making sure to fill the stand with water up to ¾ full. This will help keep your tree fresh and vibrant!​

Make sure to position your Luddenham Christmas Tree is away from any heat sources, such as TVs, heaters, sunny windows, and air conditioning vents. These can accelerate evaporation and moisture loss, affecting your tree’s freshness.

​There’s no need for commercially prepared mixes like aspirin, lemonade, or sugar. Research has shown that providing plenty of fresh water is all your tree needs to stay healthy and vibrant.

Be sure to top up the water at least every other day, if not daily, to keep your stand or bucket ¾ full at all times. This will help maintain freshness and ensure your thirsty Christmas tree feels well cared for throughout the holiday season!
